The Meada books are good and probably even better if you read Japanese, but there are so many sources of problems these days that I can’t call it necessary.

I gather the Nihon Ki-in’s own regular 4-dan members are also pretty solid by our standards. The box is horribly tight, so much so in fact that the hardest problem from this series is actually getting the books out of there without ruining them.
