Hublot pays tribute to the founder of A-Cold-Wall with the Big Bang Tourbillon Samuel Ross

Hublot is already a legendary name on the luxury watch scene. Its breathtaking range of watches has a loyal following among its discerning clientele. However, like most big names in the industry, it pays to collaborate with other equally well-known brands. Hence, we get the Samuel Ross Big Bang Tourbillon, and it is a stunner!

The British fashion icon and founder of A-Cold-Wall has close ties with Hublot. It started when he received their design award in 2019. According to Hublot CEO Richard Guadalupe, “Samuel Ross’ 360-degree approach is unique and clever, integrating watch, packaging, communication and visual identity”.

He then adds: “What is so special about this collaboration is the direct interaction between design and object, ideas and form.” The Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon Samuel Ross features a 44mm titanium case and bezel with smooth orange rubber trim. The Vibrant hue adorns the crown and frames the body, which together with the bracelet gives it a bund-style outline.

Then there’s the intricate hexagonal mesh that you can see on the dial, case, case, exhibition caseback, and bracelet. It is strange to note that there are no mechanical parts under the back sapphire crystal of the Big Bang Tourbillon Samuel Ross.

Instead, you have the hexagonal mesh that covers the HUB6035 Manufacture self-winding movement, which boasts a 72-hour power reserve. All the details you are looking for can be found on the skeleton dial of the Big Bang Tourbillon Samuel Ross.

A tourbillon cage is at 6 o’clock, while the micro-rotor with a stylized Hublot-brand cutout occupies 12 o’clock. Hublot pairs the Big Bang Tourbillon Samuel Ross with a bright orange smooth rubber strap and a titanium folding clasp closure system.
