Cheryl Cole launches shoe collection, refuses British talent

Cheryl Cole returned from Afghanistan to celebrate the launch of her new footwear collection at The Home House on Monday evening.

She stepped out in a red silk mini dress, nude skyscraper heels and a huge beehive to rival that of the late Amy Winehouse.

The Three Words singer’s foray into shoes coincides with her collaboration with fashion site Stylistpick, where the collection goes on sale from December.

Cole will also blog about his favorite items from the website’s props arsenal.

Juliet Warkentin, Creative Director of Stylistpick, said, “We are delighted to be working with Cheryl. Cheryl is the style icon and is incredibly warm, a quality that has made her the nation’s favorite.

“We believe the launch will have a huge impact on fashion; establish the biggest fashion influencer as a major force in fashion design and further democratize fashion.

Chezza’s bandmate and best friend Nicola Roberts showed up, wearing an elegant green floral mini dress for the event.

Cole, who has now been lined up to replace Michael McIntyre on Britain’s Got Talent since receiving the UK and US X Factor boot, appeared to be happy with the evening – tweeting “It’s time to the shoe .. Haha 😉 ‘alongside a photo of her sipping a cocktail.

But when she got home, she proved her feet are still human, tweeting, “Girls… don’t you just like to get your foot out of a heel and in your slippers… the best! I feel like my feet have a hug. X ‘
