Bugatti teams up with UYN to create hypercar-inspired apparel and footwear collection

Bugatti and UYN announced today that they will collaborate again on a second clothing collection. This time, he will offer 10 garments that combine high-tech materials with timeless design.

UYN (Unleash Your Nature) is an Italian clothing manufacturer whose items have been worn by Olympic athletes and prides itself on material innovation. For his latest partnership with Bugatti, he attempted to incorporate the automaker’s signature design aesthetic into the garments of the UYN for Bugatti collection.

For example, the shoes in the collection have a “Horseshoe” sole. It features a shock-absorbing midsole and high-grip rubber tread, all in a familiar U-shape and inspired by Bugatti’s grille. UYN claims that it actually gives its new shoe superior all-terrain traction.

The shoes are made of a biofiber called Natex, derived from castor oil seeds. This makes it 25% lighter than petroleum-based materials and also means it dries 50% faster. It also naturally fights odors, which is a nice bonus.

The other clothes are made of equally advanced materials. The cotton t-shirt and polo shirts are made using a 3D knitted Haloflex technique for better elasticity and breathability, while the rain jacket uses a sophisticated material in waterproof fabric (10,000 mm water column) and cut -wind.

The collection also includes a mid-layer with a full-length zipper and a fleece lining for the colder months. The padded vest, on the other hand, features an elegantly quilted material and the padded jacket adds 3D knit fabric sleeves and shoulders and Haloflex technology, like the t-shirt.

Its design, with rounded shoulders that cause the sleeve to extend down the back, is meant to resemble the distinctive C-line that defines Bugatti’s vehicles. The colors of the collection — blue, white, red and black — also refer to the brand’s aesthetic.

“Each product bearing the famous Bugatti badge reflects facets of our fine brand,” said Wiebke Ståhl, Managing Director of Bugatti International. “The new ‘UYN for BUGATTI’ collection combines high-performance apparel and cutting-edge design to deliver the luxurious feel of comfort our customers expect. In the same way that our hyper sports cars seamlessly integrate technology, the products of our new collaboration with UYN achieve the same.
