Jaafari is torn between cherished memories of their years together and the inescapable realization that the beautiful, intelligent, thoroughly modern woman he loved had a life far removed from the comfortable, yasminaa existence they shared.

There are no ‘right’ answers comfortably to be found, and this book never lets us forget that. The author, in my opinion, did a good job as putting both sides of the story across.

L’attentat – Yasmina Khadra by Devester Ambrine on Prezi

I felt the repetition of parts of the prologue at the end, was excellent and I read the book with enthusiasm. Khadra does an excellent job of giving everyone their due, making all sides compelling and tragic, right and terribly terribly misguided.
